Meet the New Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette – Hard Day. The Salvations are some of Makeup Revolution’s biggest success – eighteen shades in one palette, and there isn’t a bad one among them. Hard Day is packed with wearable shades in mixed textures – the bottom row is entirely matte. So, I’ll get straight to the swatches:
The top row of New Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette Hard Day comprises: Say Yes, It’s What We Do, Had Such A Hard Day, Not One For Playing Games, Words Just Sound The Same and Take Me Where.
The middle row of New Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette Hard Day: Eyes Can’t Find Us, Without You, I May as Well Just, Don’t Bring Me Down, Give Me A Break and What Will It Take.
The bottom row of New Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette Hard Day is: To Make You Love Me, Sweet Little Boy, With Such A Big Mouth, Gets You Into Hot Water, I am Always Here For You and Never Bring You Down.
Whew! The integral mirror in the Salvation Palettes is such a handy size – it’s a proper, decently sized, usable mirror that runs the length of the palettes. The value on these is unbeatable at £6 – I use my Makeup Revolution palettes a lot because they prove time and time again that you do not need to pay over the odds for really great products.
I love Hard Day – I’m still playing around with it so not sure if it’s my absolute favourite, but there isn’t a single colour in it that I wouldn’t use. I’m pretty welded to the Iconics to be honest.

Great review Jane, did you notice that all the names of the shadows are lines from the song “Hard Day” by George Michael?
So gorgeous! Thanks for the swatches.
I thought at first that Makeup Revolution would do what many other budget brands do and just provide dupes for well known high end products (like they did with all of Urban Decay’s Naked pallets in this case). But it seems like they’re also coming out with more and more original shades and products which just cannot be faulted. I am well and truly impressed with this brand!
Oh no…I thought surely I have enough eye colours with the Revolution palettes I already have and then THIS one launches…this is def my perfect range of colours- neutrals, but just on the cool side and with a smidge of bling! I just ordered some Lip Hugs…guess I’m going to have to “go shopping” again!!
Great colors!!!
xo
Not going to lie, every shade are the sort of shades I’d want to see in a palette. They are very me, wearable and this is mine on my next shopping trip, well, where they stock at least x
