Oh hello… this looks interesting. La Roche-Posay Redermic R uses the most tolerable form of Retinol formulated for women (and men) with sensitive skin. This is rather big news in anti-ageing terms for skin that previously couldn’t tolerate Retinol. Funnily enough, I heard some stats the other day that showed that most women think they have sensitive skin even if, under the definition of the term, they don’t. Actually what that proves to me is that women think about, and are in tune with their skin more than they ever were.
Retinol is widely recognised to help lines and wrinkles – trials on 38 women showed 30% reduction in the appearance of upper lip wrinkles, 24% reduction in the appearance of forehead wrinkles, 22% reduction in the appearance of crow’s feet eye wrinkles which seems rather impressive to me considering it costs £28 (on offer at Boots HERE for £18.66). It’s also claiming to reduce pigmentation.
As with any Retinol product, you must always use sun-screen with it.
