[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve had several conversations over the last couple of weeks about oily skin and break-outs, quite a few mask related. I don’t, personally, think you need to change up your skin care if you are not in a mask more or less all day and just wearing them to go to shops and on transport as required. But, oily skin types, in particular, do seem to be troubled by lengthy mask wearing, so an oil-free AHA moisturiser is a good option to keep breakouts at bay.

Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins Oil Free

Oily skin needs moisture, but not more oil, and this whippy, light, gel formula won’t weigh your skin down but will, using AHAs, keep your cells active to prevent clogging. I think the formula is updated to use fruit-derived AHAs from grapes and sugar beets but the replenishing comes from vitamins (B, C, E, H) and jojoba. It contains essential oils so avoid if you are reactive to those – otherwise, neroli, valerian and vanilla have somehow combined to smell entirely of oranges. It’s nice, I like it, but couldn’t have picked out the valerian in a police line-up.

I always think that Origins moisturisers are in the more reasonably priced bracket for a luxury brand – this is £30 (the Ginzing day time oil-free option is £25) HERE, non affiliate HERE.
