Genius little thing! It’s a while since I’ve even seen a lip exfoliator other than the Fresh Sugar Lip Scrub (£19.50) but if the formula is right, they’re amazing for dry and flaky lips or even as a pre-lipstick treatment if you need your lips to look super smooth.
This one, from ELF, is a snip at £4.50, using tiny sugar grains to slough away skin and give lips a smooth look and feel. I used it this morning and then slathered over some balm and I’m telling you – my lips look 100% better! We’ve got fans on all the time because we’re softy southerners and can’t bear any temperature variations without completely over-reacting and it’s definitely having an effect on my skin and lips.
As far as I can see on the Superdrug site, you can get several variants – mine is Rose but if it was supposed to taste of rose, it didn’t, it just tasted sugary which wasn’t at all unpleasant. It’s a fantastic buy at £4.50, performing well above its weight. You can find it HERE.

This is my default lip exfoliator! It’s very inexpensive (approx. $5. or so Canadian), and is pleasant to use. I’ve only ever seen the one flavour, but it’s just fine. The product is called e.l.f. Studio Lip Exfoliator here, and the packaging is a wee bit different. Perhaps they’re coming out with a new version, and you have it before we do??
I’d love to grab some of these! I love e.l.f products for their affordability and this exfoliator sounds like another great product from them.

Sounds really similar to the L’Oreal ones that I love!

There are several different flavoured ones at Lush too if you are looking for something in a pot. My fave is Bubblegum, which smells and tastes like Snow Fairy.
