[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] You know when you don’t see anything new for ages and then something comes along that’s such a good idea, you wonder why nobody else is doing it? The Elemis Pro-Collagen Glow Boost Exfoliator is a very similar blend to their best selling Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, except that it contains exfoliating beads. So, you know what to expect from this, but then it adds a bit extra and I like it!

Obviously, the ingredients only share the oils, waxes and aromatics because by necessity the texture needs to be different (or does it? I’ve never heard of an exfoliating balm but I don’t know what would prevent that happening) but if you love the smell of Elemis cleansing balm, you won’t be disappointed with this. I found it nicely rich on my skin and the spheres (cellulose, sourced from spruce trees) are tiny but effective. It feels grainy on the complexion but also extremely malleable and massage-y.

I’d certainly go along with the skin softening claim – starflower, elderberry and optimega (omega 3) oils – but there’s a beautiful smoothing action too, so the whole experience is very satisfactory both during use and after. I would hesitate if your skin is sensitive – any abrasive action won’t be good for you – but otherwise, it’s a delightful product with a high satisfaction rate. I’m testing a new skin care product at the moment so am using other products very minimally – just couldn’t resist this one though! For some reason (at the time of writing) Boots has this for £45 – £10 less than anywhere else I can find it HERE.
