[unpaid/sample] The full name for this is Dr David Jack All Day Long Daily Tinted Broad Spectrum Sun Protection Moisturiser. I’m glad I’m sober. On the one hand, this is an almost texturally perfect under-base SPF50 hydrator. On the other, it’s very watery and nothing like the blob of cream shown on the SpaceNK website. It’s really very, very liquid, and the tint is virtually undetectable (in fact, completely undetectable on my tone). I think this product needs to be sent on a different marketing course and targeted differently. I’d completely buy into an SPF water to be honest, but I wasn’t expecting this to be one.
There’s plenty of goodness in the formula – hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and mineral based SPF50, citric and lactic acids (so your skin will always feel smoother for wearing it) and as I said, it’s an ideal under base product that feels nourishing. I tried it with both Chanel and L’Oreal bases and got no interaction and no feeling of ‘layers’.
Its unexpected water-weight texture is the big plus point here for anyone who doesn’t like their skin to feel loaded, especially in summer. I don’t know – I’ve got mixed feelings on this especially as it’s £89 for 30ml (HERE, non affiliate HERE) .. personally, I’d take it back to the drawing board and change nothing about the formula or texture and everything about the expectation.
