Balade de Provence Lemon Foot Cream

Balade de Provence Lemon Foot Cream

I posted last year about this vegan brand from France when they sent me a deliciously scented pear hand cream. I used all of it up because I loved the scent and that it looked so lovely by my kitchen sink in its pear shaped pot. Another package has arrived from Provence with two of their new products; a lemon foot cream and an apricot cuticle balm. I’ll let you into the secret that I mis-read the balm labeling and have been using it as a lip balm all weekend. So, I can attest that it works for that too!

The foot cream has 20% shea butter so it’s very nourishing and the lemon-y scent is sufficient that there is a great deal of pleasure in the application. Nobody needs lemony smelling feet per se, so the fragrance really is at sensory benefit level while you apply. There’s a little sweetness to the scent – more lemon sherbet than freshly squeezed but it really liked it. The apricot cuticle balm is also nicely fragranced – quite soft and a little bit sugared but not in a vanilla-sweetie kind of way.

These are just so lovely to use and to look at – I think they’re reasonably priced at £9.90 for the foot cream HERE. The apricot balm isn’t yet in stock but on its way but it ought to go on the stocking filler list!

Lol, I would have thought lip balm too.
Reminds me of the story (urban legend or not, I don’t know) of the woman who kept going back for Dior’s apricot cuticle cream, apparently a cult product, and they got curious and asked how much she was using to be going through it so fast. It turns out she was eating it with a spoon! Again not sure if it’s true, but at least it’s amusing…

oh my goodness! I love that .. reminds me of the lady who was putting vitamin E capsules in her ear instead of swallowing them… and that IS true!
