I’m not sure how many years ago it was that I discovered the Lisa Hoffman facial set – 10 mini tubes of everything you need to sit in front the TV and take your time over a perfect at-home skin treatment. Lisa, as far as I can tell, is now selling jewellery and perfume and the skin care has long gone, but I never forgot how much I loved that set! So, happy times now that natural skin care expert, Antonia Burrell, has brought out something very similar, bettering the concept with those strange looking tubes which I’ll explain in a sec. I can’t tell you how lovely it is to have everything measured out and ready to use – it’s asking, just by its presentation, for you to sit down and take some time out.
You start with tube 1, Cleansing Oil in a water soluble format and use the included wash cloth to remove it. Move on to the little pot of Polishing Powder, add water, and massage it around your skin before wiping away. Now, sit yourself down! The next step is the Plumping & Hydrating Water in a serum texture that you pat into your complexion. Apply the next tube, Facial Oil Serum and get out the cups – those little green tubes. The best way I can describe how to use them is that you squeeze til they grab the skin and then you pull them in an upward direction so they glide across the skin. You absolutely do need to have the oil on your skin first! Antonia has a video HERE that shows you how simple it is and I can guarantee you’ll notice a difference from the method. It increases circulation and feels incredible. After that, you apply the Mask Supreme, a 7 in 1 mask using blue green algae and finish with the Cream Supreme moisturiser.
It’s not just that these products feel like all of the quality, but the process, including the cupping is such a pleasure – a real winter’s eve me-time treat. There’s just something about the tidy pockets of organic product all wrapped up as one that feels like permission to treat oneself. It’s a lovely gift, too, for friends that you know don’t take enough time for themselves – there isn’t a way to hurry this. You could, at a push, eke it out to two uses and of course, you can then use the cups with any other oils you have at home. I think once you’ve tried it, you’ll be hooked. It’s £25 HERE.

Now this looks exciting!! I keep meaning to try Antonia Burrell after reading your review for her mask a long time ago. I think because she’s not on any of the big sites, it always slips out of my mind when I’m wanting to try something new, annoyingly. Live the idea of the cups & the lovely sage green makes me want them all the more!
