Peacci Nail Polish

[unpaid/sample] Sometimes, colour is just so energising – I absolutely loved photographing these wild brights from Peacci. One of my friends showed me her nail art earlier this week – she had painted a tiny red heart on one nail on each hand and it was so sweet – I’m thinking a yellow heart over a clear coat would be lovely and something I’m going to have a go at.

It’s always best to get full volume on brights to have a coat of white underneath because it intensifies the colour but this formula seems to be thicker than most and very highly pigmented so you may not need to. I got a really decent finish with the yellow shade without it applying two coats and then a top coat.

I mean, these are just good-mood-makers in a bottle really, aren’t they? I’m assuming the name Peacci is pronounced ‘peachy’ – if not, I’ve been saying it wrong! Peacci is a fairly newly launched brand (2020) from nail professional Daisy Kalina who founded The Gelbottle Inc in 2017 (focusing on gel manicures) which was successful almost instantly. Both brands are vegan and cruelty free.

The brush is nicely fat so you get a good application – two strokes does it – and it’s a perfectly glossy finish with or without top coat. I always use a quick dry top coat because I just don’t have the patience to wait for dry nails but this was actually quite quick to dry so in this instance, I’d say it’s not essential.

These are lovely! Yellow polishes can be so finicky, it’s impressive you got such a good finish! I just had a look at the website – I’ve been finding nail polish generally quite boring for a while, like I’ve seen it all (Barry M however do some unusual shades) but there are some interesting nuanced colours there I’m tempted by! Thank you for the bright Spring-y party, it’s just what my eyes needed after hours of work and homeschool 🙂

ah you’re so welcome – sometimes your eyes just need to rest on some colour. The peachy shades were taking my fancy too…

Mmm…I got all excited but the payment page doesn’t work on their site and I noticed the horrible disappointing reviews on Trustpilot.

Oh no – that’s such a shame – I will feed back to the brand PR because that’s not good at all. Regarding Trust Pilot, all I can say is that is not at all my finding – I wore the yellow shade for 3 days without a single chip. I needed two coats plus a top coat and applied three coats to two nails which are ridged and need extra ‘bulk’. I was impressed because I’ve tried yellow nails before it’s rare to get one that coats so well in two coats. That’s just my honest findings … I’ve got no relationship to the brand at all. I think the reviews (which I’ve now read) are odd – I’ve since tried the violet shade and that is fine too – it needed two coats but I think that’s normal. Bottom line though is that if they can’t take your money – go elsewhere!
