[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I had a chat with Marian Newman on trend shades for spring and summer are – she is heading towards yellow (along with grey, the Pantone shade of the year) which I was wearing last week and I am pulled towards pink, especially baby pink, at the moment.

This set, Relationship Status: Blushing, from Nails Inc is ticking all the spring boxes – a set of four shades in the pink spectrum ranging from the palest blush to full on fuchsia.

Nails Inc brushes are wide and flatten out as you stroke the polish on – in experienced hands, it’s a one stroke brush but somehow I always end up needing two. The consistency is exactly right – thick enough to deposit a good colour dose but liquid enough to spread easily… I very rarely go wrong with this combination of brush and consistency.

Here they are on the nail wheel – Dover Street, Victoria Embankment, The Strand and St Christopher’s Place. The last shade is a neon so to get the best from it, you need a white undercoat. The set is £22 HERE, non-affiliate HERE.

While I was checking prices, I spotted some sale bargains too – notably, this Girl On The Go set. It’s an 8 strong combination of red, pink, gold, grey, coral and blue which basically should see you through all of the colour moods, in the 45 Second Dry formula for £24 instead of £48 which is a lot of polish for your pennies. It’s HERE, non-affiliate HERE.
