I guess it depends upon how seriously you take your lipgloss whether you want the added extras or not. Zelens Lip Glaze contains tripeptides, a lip volumiser and a botanical extract which is handily commonly known as Kiss Me Quick (Portulaca Pilosa). Better not to mention that its other common name is Hairy Pigweed which has made me laugh a great deal! I’m sure that’s not a seller in a gloss! Either way, the plant is known for anti-inflammatory properties. Think of these as treatment glosses and over time, anti-oxidant infused collagen builders.

Hairy pigs aside, these are exactly the kind of glosses that I love – they’re perfect. The Zelens Lip Glaze gives a decent wash of colour without being shouty and sit comfortably on the lip with enough ‘stick’ to make them last a while but not so much that your mouth feels tacky. I could feel a slight minty/tingle effect which I assume is the plumping ingredient, but if you’re expecting pillow lips, that doesn’t happen. The shades from bottom to top are: Rose, Pink, Coral, Nude and Rouge.

Even at £29 each HERE, I would highly recommend, especially if you’re like me with creased lips and a fear of matte! Every single one of these is in the keep drawer.
