Right up my street! This is a very sneaky peek at these ombre lip lovelies don’t luanch til April, but I thought I’d give you an idea of things to come from this brand.
If an ombre lip seems a bit of a stretch, don’t worry – although these lipsticks look as though they’re miles apart colourwise, they work very well together. I think you really do have to do a bit of a blend after application either by patting your finger over your lip or with a brush. They work by giving an outline to your lip so if you like the look of a lip pencil before your lipstick, then you will like these and personally I love the fact that the outline isn’t an exact match because that’s what creates the ombre. An ombre is a colour graduation and you have no idea how much interest it adds to a flat lipstick.
So, now that they’re swatched you can see the difference in colour, but believe me, once blended they give the lip some beautiful definition. The Twist On Lip is made for letting your lip look dominate – you pretty much won’t need anything else bar foundation, lashes and a strong brow. This look is so early I don’t have a price I’m afraid but I’m a bit, well whatever they cost, they’re great! The finish is matte but not a flat, dry matte.
