Sisley Phyto Eye Twist Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Stick beauty is completely up my street for quick make-up – gone are the days of cut-creasing and hours in front of the mirror. Sisley has some new shades in their Phyto Twist collection and there’s one in particular that I’ve fully fallen for.

Rose Bronze is that perfect metallic mix of metallic mauve that instantly gives you ‘holiday’ eyes. I say that meaning there is a certain sort of blaze that the kindly Mediterranean light gives eyes that I personally cannot replicate in south east London! If you have blue eyes you are twice blessed in this colour that is both cool and warm. I guess you could say it’s a heathered bronze – there is definitely some kind of purpleness in there that gives it an edginess.

Taupe is a poor relation by contrast but it’s a very balancing colour for the face and washes the lids with a deep neutral tone that makes eyes look wider but not particularly heavily made up. They’re £36 each HERE. The new Berry Twist Up Blush is a pop of pink for cheeks that’s welcome – it’s so light in texture that you barely know its there. We have a bit more light at the moment and if your complexion can take pink (most can), it gives a well-looking brightness to the face without being too much. It’s expensive at £50 HERE (only one left in stock according to John Lewis) but the sheerness of texture means it will last and last.

Hi Jane, have you seen the new Sisley Phyto-Rouge Shine lipsticks launched this week? They are very similar to the Gucci Rene Pink I have but more moisturising and a wider selection of colours. I bought Sheer Cherry and it’s so lovely!

Ooh, thanks Erica – I’ll see what they have.
