[unpaid/purchase/affiliate] I went onto Escentual last week to look for Mr BBB’s favourite shower gel, Roger & Gallet Jean Marie Farina (super fresh, cologne scented) and of course got wildly side tracked by make up. I forget that the site stocks the quirky Italian brand, PUPA, and as soon as I saw the bird palette, that was it.

I mean, how can anyone resist! It’s rather unglamorously called Bird 1 (even Pink Bird would have been better) and it made me smile as soon as I opened the box.

The body opens out to reveal a top tier of a milky pink and a berryish pink in a shiny lip cream, both very wearable with a lightly fruity scent.

The second tier reveals a crystal gloss in the centre and a matt lip cream either side of that. There’s a little mirror as well in the lid. Unbelievably, it’s half price at £6.25 with three other colour-ways. I think I was restrained not to get them all although slightly kicking myself for not stocking up the birthday present cupboard.
You can find them HERE, and at the same time, there is a 25% off offer on the site for all Roger & Gallet so now is the time to grab some shower gel, bubbles or soap. Non affiliate HERE.

The bird palettes are so sweet. With my surname I think I’m destined to get one.
I think so Sophie!
That’s is so cute … immediately orders for a lockdown treat for my niece with some roger & gallet Hand cream for me you know Just to make the order a bit more essential
Hand cream IS essential :-)))
Roger & Gallet soap is absolutely THE best, and so great for presents.
And these Pupa palettes are fantastic presents for teenagers (as well as adults who love kawaii things) – you’ve reminded me to get one for my daughter who isn’t having a regular prom this year (she doesn’t particularly care, thankfully). (The school is rescheduling later in the year, the kids won’t miss out, and I’m sure all other schools are doing the same.)
The thing is, at that price, I know I’m getting nice quality makeup for her to experiment with and it’s so cute I know I’ll get brownie points, too. 😀
Working on all levels then – the power of make up :-))
Ooh, Pupa – gosh, I was so obsessed with them in the early 2000’s. Boots sold their products at one point (along with another brand called “Kiss Australia” – probably 2003/4). I would rarely use the make up sets as they were too pretty. This makes me nostalgic!
I’ve still got some old 2000-ish ones in my box of tricks – a set of biscuits is one 🙂
I too bought a few PUPA things in the 00’s, bought a cute cat palette for myself a year ago or so, my 6yo daughter loves it.
Super-cute!
This is too cute and now I want it! Wish Pupa was sold here.
It’s sweet, isn’t it!
