It’s such a long time since I’ve even seen any Pixi beauty so I’m really pleased to have a re-introduction to the brand. I can very clearly remember interviewing the Pixi sisters for a magazine when the brand first began, so it’s always good to catch up however far between times it is.

I think I picked a good place to start too, with the new Pixi Matte Lustre Lipstick – I’m not a happy matte wearer but there’s something about this formula that makes it very high on comfort on the lips. Infused with peptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamins C and E (and vegan friendly), they glide onto the lip. It’s also very helpful that these aren’t the kind of super dry mattes, but more of a demi matte finish, so infinitely kinder on creases. I still feel they’re too matte for me personally, but if you can’t bear the feel of that weighty super matte finish, it’s a good compromise because they feel more like satins on the lip.
More importantly, for me at least, they’re fragrance free! So no big vanilla whack to hit your nostrils and leave a weird taste in your mouth. Bonus. Pixi Matte Lustre Lipstick is £14 from www.pixibeauty.co.uk. Oh, and I’ve finally got my hands on the Pixi Glow Tonic – it’s got a lot to live up to!

I’ve just started using the Glow Tonic too – it’s good, but oh my the smell! It’s floral, but to me it smells like the water that flowers have been in too long!
These look beautiful! I love the glow tonic too….and their concealer. I thought this brand was Petra Strand though? X
Technically its Petra for Pixi.. that’s the title anyway x
Ah…..that’s where I’ve got confused 🙂
I love the Glow toner, it’s perfect for my combination (normal/oily) skin.
