NYX Vivid Brights Creme Colour

These remind me, in texture, of MAC Paint Pots and also their seasonal Trend Forecast palettes which are also creme. NYX already has Vivid Brights in eyeliner form, but these new creme formulas are meant for all over the lid, or anywhere you want them really.

There’s a selection of 12 shades from a gorgeous copper (blue eyed ladies – rush for this!) to a pastel violet that I think I’d struggle to find a use for. The shade I haven’t experimented with yet, but will, is the oxblood shade appropriately named Bad Blood. I can see a line of that could be amazing, but not sure yet about a full lid. I don’t want to look like I have an eye bleed.

One of the things to note is that there is some very cheeky slackfill going on – the jars look quite generous but the fill is not at all generous as you can see from the picture above.

I think it’s fairly obvious in the swatch that there are some texture inconsistencies – the pastels were much drier and dragged a little. From bottom to top: Rock Glam, Light Show, Pillow Talk, Endless Skies, Get Money, Aqua Sapphire, Sugar Rush, Blueprint, Bad Blood. They’re £9 each HERE.

I noticed that there are lots of looks sent in from NYX fans that are stunning – often very bold which might give you some ideas how to wear the new Cremes.
