Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you will have noticed that Marc Jacobs Beauty has launched at Harrods. The range is quite extensive (the glosses definitely get my vote) and if you’re looking for a place to begin, so far I’m really impressed with the mascara which I haven’t tried before and the New Nudes Sheer Gel lipsticks.
The texture is very smooth and creamy and the finish gives a moisture filled sheen – pigment is good but not a full saturation. When they’re on the lip they feel almost balmy so they’re super comfortable and they have a very light vanilla scent. Application is literally a glide so the ‘gel’ part works.
Shades I have from bottom to top are: Moody Margot, Understudy and Anais, with the top swatch being the O!Mega Bronzer in the main picture. They’re £24 each HERE.
The Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara is fabulous if you like a very full and black lash fringe – it’s more volumising than defining so if you prefer a very spiky lash look with lots of separation, it’s not for you. There is absolutely no doubt that my lashes look double the size! I don’t think it’s too expensive either at £20 HERE when you compare to Tom Ford at £35, who I think is Marc Jacobs Beauty’s nearest rival.
Elizabeth Arden Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules
I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
O!Mega Bronzer is HUGE! At least the size of small saucer so if you need a bronzer for on the go this isnt it, but I like the fact that it’s natural looking on the skin, very finely milled and not ‘scary bronze’! The shade I have is Tantric, and it’s £33 HERE.
