M2 Beaute Black Nano Mascara
M2 Beaute Black Nano Mascara

M2 Beaute is certainly one of the best when it comes to lash growth serums – it’s also one of the most expensive but absolutely does give results if you’re short or sparse of lash.

Their newest innovation is a mascara with lash growth technology – and 3 brushes. It’s quite easily one of the loveliest mascaras I’ve ever used when it comes to formula but this three brush thing is 2 small ideas away from a very good idea. The problem is that within the lid is a stalk onto which you put one of the three included brushes, depending upon whether you want natural, precision or volumised lashes (there isn’t much difference between ‘natural’ and ‘precision’). Once you’ve added the brush to the stalk you then have one massive long brush that is unweildy to use. It’s better, and you have more control, to not add it onto the stalk. There is also no place to keep the brushes – a little cylinder to keep them in would have been a great idea – I just have these three brushes to keep track of (and hygienic) and it’s a pain. NB: The brand has pointed out that you remove the red stopper and tuck the brush into the handle so it doesn’t come out too long. It’s in the instructions which I didn’t read properly, but again, I’d cite this as an over-complication.

That said, I’m going to use this up – who wouldn’t want longer lashes?! It’s £32 and launching in Harrods exclusively soon.
