Hello Sailor is one of Lipstick Queen’s all time best sellers – along with Frog Prince which did absolutely nothing for me and yet SpaceNK can barely keep it in stock. Shows what I know!
Lipstick Queen has upped the ante with the sister to Hello Sailor Lipstick with Hello Sailor Lipgloss; a fusion of topaz blue gloss, shards of blue pearl shimmer and a little lip plumping thrown in!

If you haven’t used Hello Sailor, the formula is a colour morph and so naturally, so is Hello Sailor gloss, kicking off as a sheer wash of twinkling blue and morphing down to a pink/mauve stain. The formula is lovely – it feels very soft on the lip, containing Vitamin E, Meadow Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Omega 3, 6 and 9.

I haven’t tested this on my lips yet (there’s no call for blue sparkly lips on a Bank Holiday Monday at home!) but on my arm, it took quite a long time for the colour morph to happen, so be prepared for a little wait.
Hello Sailor Lipgloss launches next month (June) for £22 at SpaceNK.

I’m not sure I’m into blue lips but each to their own I guess!!

Looks like it’s sheer enough to not look truly blue (though people like myself with very mauve/definitely cool toned lips may look more blue) but more mauve on most people – and the blue will whiten teeth. I think Benefit still do the California Kissing blue teeth-whitening gloss?
As a young teenager I was really into the blue lip. These days however not so much. Although I would love to try blue lip gloss again. 🙂

Looks like a fun shade!
Blue is such an interesting colour, would have been good to see how it looked on your lips!

It’s almost a shame that it does colour morph, because that is such a beautiful blue! I find the Hello Sailor lipstick takes a good 10-15 minutes to fully ‘ripen’ into pink on my lips, so I expect the gloss version would be about the same.

The ideas interesting. The blue will hopefully do the trick for making your teeth look whiter!
