Woo! These Isadora lip boosters are spicy! Designed to be volumizing and hydrating glosses, they’re that older style Stila ‘milky’ finish that’s so pretty on the lip – not full coverage but more of a nude toned wash.
I could easily wear all of these shades – most people could, I think, but will probably only dip in occasionally because I’m not sure how I feel about the spiciness that gives a bit of volume. The glosses contain a natural peptide (called Maxi-Lip), capsicum, retinol, sunflower seed oil, castor seed oil. rosemary leaf extract, Vitamin E, rapeseed oil and peppermint oil so you can see there is more about them than your standard gloss. The capsicum (chili extract) is really quite strong and works by increasing blood circulation to the lips resulting in a temporary plumper effect.
I would suggest that you don’t buy these for the plumping effect, which will be fleeting and minor, but more for the conditioning qualities and those gorgeous, gorgeous shades. From bottom to top: Peach Pout, Almond Glaze, Pink Plump and Juicy Mauve, all new shades that will eventually rock up on the Feel Unique website!
