[productsample/affiliate] Matte lip lovers are going to be delighted at the arrival of ten new Lip Maestro shades in earthy neutrals for every skin tone. These have intense saturation – and despite the matte label aren’t flat mattes but more of a luminous effect without the shine.

Giorgio Armani Matte Nature For Lips

I was never a fan of a long wand but actually, these have all the flex in the applicator while the wand stays rigid which makes for an easy application. They’re definitely not something you can use mirror free because the shades are so intense (and stainy) that one wrong move and it’s all wrong! However, that stain and intensity is what gives them the long-wear and impact so it’s worth a little extra attention.

The shades from top to bottom are: Redwood, Acajou, Granite, Cedar, Sand and Rose Nomad. I don’t have the full ten but I think this selection gives you a good idea – site swatches are very good so it’s worth clicking through if you’re in doubt about the shades. I find these lip mattes really clean smelling for some reason – there isn’t much in the way of fragrance but what there is smells like fresh washing! They’re £31 each HERE.
