Nature Republic Californian Aloe Sun Stick SPF50

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m heading to Wimbledon on Friday, all being well, and this is definitely going in my bag. There’s nothing like being outdoors all day long in sunshine to catch you out. This particular sun stick from Korean brand Nature Republic (new to the UK – store just off Leicester Square in London) has everything I want.

The texture is lovely – it’s not shiny or oily so won’t add to any natural shininess and in fact will knock it down which would make it useful as a primer if you want to put any base on top of it.

The shape has the perfect curve for facial contours – but also knees and shoulders. I really like this – it’s slightly discounted on Nature Republic to £21.10 HERE but I found it on Amazon slightly cheaper for £18 HERE. Keeping a stick that’s specifically for your handbag means you don’t get caught short so I tend to just leave it there and never remove it. If you do head to Amazon, look for the Tocobo Cotton Soft Sun Stick SPF50 for £9.60 HERE, and the Avene Sensitive Zones SPF50 Stick for £14.95 HERE.

Handy! Gets more and more popular! I still mourn Nature Republic’s sun protection mist though – no droplets, no trace (so perfect also over any make up), spf50, decent volume of 150ml… Discontinued. Don’t know how this stick will behave around eyes though – keep your shades on, Jane! (Recently also read some scary stuff about what sun exposure can bring to our eyes… Switched to soft lenses with spf and decided to wear sunglasses more. More knowledge more fears, brrr…)

Yes, always have my shades handy!
