Fenty Beauty Snow Nights Frosted Metal Lipstick Set

So, I know brands want authenticity, but I realise as I’m uploading this picture that those damn fingerprints might be a bit too real! I need beauty white gloves :-). The Fenty Beauty Snow Nights Frosted Metal Lipstick Set is sent in a flip-lid pack with a little mirror in the lid, just like the eye crayons that I posted about last week.

These shades are really unusual – at least the brand hasn’t gone safe and has gone for colours that more adventurous than the norm – and they’re frosted. There are several brands (including Marc Jacobs) that have gone frosty this season and for those of us who associate frosted lips with the 1980’s – or even the 90’s where it had a revival. These lipsticks lay down a good amount of colour without being extreme saturation. They’re creamy in texture and the pearlised pigment gives them a decent lustre on the lip. I’m calling them frosts rather than metallics because they don’t seem to have quite the same level of foil that we’ve come to expect from metallics.

See? I think they’re pretty cool shades – from bottom to top: No Chill, Frost Sauce and Fog Snog. Quite pricy at £32 HERE.
