Dolce & Gabbana The Brow Powder

If you’re doing something that everyone else already has well under their belt, it needs to be done exceptionally and I’d say that the forthcoming Dolce & Gabbana The Brow Powder compact fits that bill. It’s really beautiful – sleek in the hand and very elegant. Even the little tools have a thoughtful extender to make the brushes longer and much more manageable than when they’re tiny. I mean, they’re cute when they’re small but ever so fiddly.

Shown is the palette in Brunette – the shades are much as you’d expect (brow powders always surprise me at how much darker they make your brows) – they don’t show up well on an arm swatch – but you do have the two tones so you can mix and match as you please. Strangely enough, it’s the Benefit brow powder that has given me confidence to darken my brows and make them a bit more of a feature so I can see myself using this one. Realistically, brow powders are much of a muchness, and it boils down to how premium you like your cosmetics. It’s £42 and launches in Harrods any day now.
