I’m popping up a top-line post for now on Chanel Summer 2016 – I’m rushed off my feet at the moment so I haven’t managed to get these individually photographed and swatched so that will come as soon as I can get to it. In the meantime, these are the pictures I took at the launch so you can get the ‘In The Summer Light’ vibe. Above, four of the five nail polishes including Espadrilles (front) – an amplified tomato shade that’s a trend waiting to happen.
There are six new Glossamers coming, a vibrant blue mascara and two Les Beige Healthy Glow Multi Colours.

The star of the show, though, is the Creation Empreinte Du Desert, and I cannot wait to swatch these because they are so, so light hit – sheeny doesn’t cover it!
As part of the launch, we each had a lovely model to make up using the new products – here’s mine: I’m glad to say I didn’t mess it up but that poor girl – I kept resting my hand on her head trying to get the right angles for application on someone else. The patience of a saint, she had, I tell you!
So.. very brief, and apologies for that, but I will return with all the full details, shade names, prices and launch dates. Oh, and Chanel are revamping their entire nail polish range, with only four shades staying from the core range. I’ll find out what they are and if your favourite isn’t one of them, you can stock up before it disappears for good.
