[productsample/affiliate] I would challenge you to find a more silky feeling gloss that the new offerings from By Terry. By Terry Lip Expert Shine might look small, but it is mighty because you have full colour at first swipe. There’s also a new selection of Lip Expert Mattes which I’ll get to next week because I’m suddenly overwhelmed with lip products to test and swatch.
The three that I’ve pulled out as personal favourites are (left to right) Red Star, Vintage Nude and Gypsy Chic. I’ve tested each of them and the biggest surprise is Vintage Nude that comes out much more brown than it looks in the pot. It’s gorgeous and far more vibrant that the packaging allows it to show.
The swatches are in the same order. In terms of gloss level, we aren’t talking mega shine, it’s much more of a sheen-plus when I compare it to the vinyl style glosses that look like they’re going to drip off your lips at any moment. No, these are definitely glossy but in a more relaxed, and I guess, stylish, way. Maybe effortless is the word I’m looking for. They’re light on the lip and I didn’t need to top mine up for a couple of hours at least which is unusual for me.
They’ve got a bit of Vitamin E in them which gives them a conditioning element and really, I have nothing to complain about. They’re a luxury brand so priced accordingly at £29 each but they do feel treat-y.
Elizabeth Arden Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules
I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
