If you’re all about the nude matte lip, this cocoa inspired collection has the best range of chocolate toned nudes I’ve seen. They’re very flat nudes so you get the proper no-shine effect but with a durable and intense colour. Beauty Bakerie, as you might guess, bases all its products around sweet things but suprisingly, these liquid lipsticks aren’t loaded with vanilla fragrance. I can’t detect any fragrance at all. Beauty Bakerie is a cruelty free range.
Bizarrely – and I find it with all mattes – they take forever to dry on my arm, but only a second on my lips. Why that happens is one of the big unanswered beauty questions in life! So, swatches are from bottom to top: Mocha Frappe, French Toast, Ginger Snap, S’Mores Douvres, Louvre Palace and Fortune Cookie.
I think if you love the cafe creme matte nude vibe then you’ll get a lot of looks – and variations on the theme – from this set. It’s reduced from £79.95 to £69.95 which works out to £11.65 per liquid lip. Singles are £14.95. The Beauty Bakerie Hot Cocoa Set is HERE.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
