Another one to add to the ever-growing list of beauty advents for 2016. Actually, I rather like it – it’s the House of Fraser advent and I love that they’ve made it a fairytale Christmassy store front. I also like that it’s £25 instead of the madness of £100+ advents I’m seeing.
The House of Fraser advent features their own-brand range, Colour Couture, and it’s fine – the sample windows I opened contained liquid liners – one black and one shimmery black and gold (very pretty) and a black eye crayon, so you get a proper piece of make up or item in each window (some are nail files and polishes, others are nail stickers or a mini kabuki, for example) rather than sample size. This is good, obviously, but it makes the windows a bit unweildy.
Although the packaging isn’t premium, it’s really festive and pretty and a bit different to a lot of the others I’ve seen.
