Anna Sui Spring* is full of surprises and clearly has Easter in mind. If you remember the last collection for Autumn Winter also featured these faces with inspiration taken from past Hollywood icons.
Each egg shaped tin contains a translucent lip gloss/balm wrapped up in paper so it’s very ‘gifty’.
So, 001 in red is Deep Red, 200 purple is Mysterious Purple…
..002 black is Spicy Black (with shimmer) and 001 is Yellow Gold.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
Red and purple have the most pigment but all are very sheer on the lip. Spicy Black is more of a grey wash (looks lovely over a red lipstick) but none will do anything other than give the very lightest touch of colour. They’re a blend of high viscosity oil and shiny oil which is you get the last and the shine – they don’t disappear after two minutes but bear in mind that they’re not a silk feel and you do get a little ‘tack’. The formula uses Rosa Canina to moisturise and peach kernel and macadamia oils to give shine. At £10 each I think they’re great little Easter gifts (to self?!) but they don’t launch til March so there’s plenty of time to think about it.
