Christophe Robin Aloe Vera Hair Mask

The new mask from Christophe didn’t even need to join the testing queue – it went straight to the front because it was exactly what my hair needed at the moment it arrived. If you’re a regular reader you’ll know that I love this brand and enormously like the founder, Christophe Robin. The brand has just sold to The Hut Group which, in my experience, often means you never hear about them or from them ever again (I’ll cite Mio as an example) but I’m hoping that’s not the case here.

Christophe Robin Aloe Vera Hair Mask

Its launch is bang on for the summer months where the thought of a hefty mask sitting in your hair is just too much when you’re already hot and bothered. As you’d hope from a £27 hair conditioner, it’s packed with enzymes and vitamins as well as flaxseed oil that helps to give suppleness. The aloe vera gives the fragrance a lightly green scent – botanical without being herby – and I get a very decent shine on my hair whenever I use it in combination with the aloe vera shampoo. So, if your hair is very dry or textured, it’s probably not weighty enough but if you hover about between normal to dry or dry ends, it very much is. I always get good results from this brand, to be fair (I’m addicted to the rose shampoo), apart from the solid shampoo bar (in the same aloe vera family) which was dreadful.

If you don’t mind being a bit spendy on shampoo and conditioner then this treat of a mask is a huge recommend for any age hair. It’s HERE, non aff HERE.
