Paul & Joe Fragrance Roller Balls

There are so many new fragrances at the moment – January is scent heaven for perfume lovers. New from Paul & Joe are these little roller ball fragrances in Rose, Freesia and Peony and a bit of a snip at £13 each.

These are unashamedly floral – there’s no complex, multi-note blend so they pretty much smell exactly as described both in writing and in illustration. I can’t not flag up what a massive box that is for such a tiny fragrance. You can, of course, recycle it, as I suppose you can the glass bottles once it’s finished.

Rose is my out and out favourite – it’s a sweet rose (they’re all quite sweet but not, in my view, cloying) that puts a smile on your face and I love the fact that they’re so uncomplicated. You only need a swirl of the roller ball on your wrist to have the right amount although I didn’t find them particularly long in the last so you’ll probably need to (and want to!) top up during the day. These are the perfect size to pop in your handbag or even a pocket and I think the price is pretty good, too. It’s interesting that M&S are bringing out their low price fragrances and now we have these from P&J at a purse friendly price – perhaps it’s the start of a fragrance trend: decent and affordable scents from known brands. They’re HERE if you need a January pick-me-up.
