Since we’ve started the day with all things sprinkles n rainbows, I’m just carrying on. Brights are made for Mondays. Next up, is the Mary Kay Eau So Cute fragrance. It IS cute and I kind of love that someone in creative got given free reign to make the kitschest, pinkest thing they could AND got to call it Eau So Cute as well. Someone over at Mary Kay is winning at life right now!
Obviously, the only thing to do is chuck a few flamingos and a polka dot ribbon at it. In terms of scent, well – it’s as you might expect. Viciously sweet initially, but tunes down a few notches to just plain old sweet. Nominally, the top notes are juicy pear, sweet almond blossom, Italian Bergamot and neroli, with middle note of freesia, pink peony, daisy and cyclamen. Bottom notes include marshmallow musk, cedarwood and sandalwood. If you told me that it was top notes of Gummy Bear, middle of Love Hearts and bottom of Space Dust I would believe you almost, but I can detect some florals going on in there. It’s not horrible – but you’d have to really like a sweet floral to be on side with this, and plenty of people do. The biggest thing for me is that it’s not flooded with vanilla which is what stops it being sickly – it’s just pretty-sweet, not sickly-sweet.
Anyhoo, Mary Kay Eau So Cute is £25 HERE .
