L’Occitane Light Up My Future Candle

For another year, L’Occitane teams up with Marie Claire for La Flamme Marie Claire to raise funds for education for women and girls. La Flamme Marie Claire began in France in 2010 and since then, 583,100 candles have been sold, raising a total of EU1,791,446 which is something to be proud of. I like that the charities are very carefully chosen across the UK, Cambodia and Africa and that they receive 100% of profits. For this year, it’s expected to be over EU300,000 dispersed between the charities to fund a variety of things.

L’Occitane Light Up My Future Candle

While L’Occitane hasn’t always been the partner brand with La Flamme Marie Claire, you can see why it’s a perfect fit. The candle itself is so sweet – a light and airy floral scent (freesia, red berries, lily of the valley, rose and jasmine) and if you like florals, there is nothing not to like here, although if you like a ‘big’ fragrance, this isn’t it. It’s £9 and officially launching on Thursday, but someone is keen not to be late because I’ve found it HERE!
