[historic samples] Who doesn’t have a podcast these days? Well, I can tell you who does – Dior. If you’re a fragrance fan, Dior Untold is well worth settling down to when you have a spare half an hour.

The opening episode, Dior in Bloom, is up now HERE, and focuses on Christian Dior’s love of Grasse, where he built an enduring love of flowers. He planted row upon row of Centifolia Rose – often reflected in the thread of fragrance notes that runs through the brand as well as fashion creations. To be honest, I’d load this up on your phone, pop to your nearest park if you don’t have a garden and plonk yourself down on a rug next to a rose bush to have a truly immersive experience. The weather is all set to be lovely and I can’t think of a nicer treat-to-self than this.

Good morning Jane. The podcast sounds / smells like a lovely treat. I will spritz on some Dune or inhale my vintage Eau Fraiche beforehand and sit back and relax. Lovely Alan Titchmarsh is in full bloom by my back door, showy and prickly (it’s a rose, trust me), there’s nothing quite like a scented rose in bloom is there? That’s a lovely personalised New Look 1947 bottle and candle 🙂
Have a lovely Friday and stay cool! xx
Enjoy your weekend Chrissie – all lovely and fragranced :-))
What a fab idea, thank you.
Mr Dior’s own favourite, lily of the valley as Diorissimo, was my first scent, in the 1960s, and it still enchants me.
My favourite candle in the world is the one you can buy in the Dior store in Paris and nowhere else – lily of the valley. Mr BBB used to buy me them (occasionally) when he worked in Paris.
ooh perfect for my trek to Waitrose tomorrow to pick up my Click n Collect pillows *oh the glamour*
Love the look of it! Dior Untold will be my bedtime story today, thanks for the post 🙂
