[productsample] A very quick sneaky peek of the new Aveda Rosemary Mint Invigorating Candle which I saw for the first time last night and have had on the burn for a couple of hours this morning. Invigorating is exactly the right word for this blend of rosemary, peppermint and spearmint.
In the past, Aveda candles have been a bit light on fragrance, but my goodness, you won’t find that here! It’s absolutely the mind clearing power blast you might hope it would be. It’s perfect for someone like me sitting in front of my laptop every day when I can get really sluggish and word-stuck … an olfactory wake up is welcome and often necessary.
It’s not launched here yet – it’s $45 in the US – but I’ll flag it again when it does. The thing about this candle is that it starts giving from the very get-go. Many candles need to warm to their theme and this one doesn’t so it’s good for a quick burst of enlivening fragrance that you can then blow out until you need it the next time. It isn’t one you need to keep on the burn for ages. I love the Rosemary Mint range – I have the bath bar and the shampoo and notice that it goes down far too quickly because the rest of my family seem to love it too.
