Oh hey! Someone’s a genius – what an amazing idea for putting some style into a sleeveless dress that’s been loitering at the back of your wardrobe for years because – arms! I genuinely never thought the arm-cover thing would happen to me – I don’t not like my upper arms but I do notice that I don’t reach for sleeveless things as often as I did and when I do, I tend to cover them with a jacket or long sheer cardi.
I’m generally body positive – for everyone – but this arm thing does seem to crop up no matter what your body shape (a quick poll of my friends confirms) and frankly, life is too short to worry about what you’re showing and what you’re not. If these clever shaping sleeves make you pull out your strappy or sleeveless dresses and tops a bit more often, it’s £22 well spent. You can find a selection HERE (but sizes are selling out so don’t be slow).

It has been quite a mission trying to find a dress for my mum to wear at a wedding with sleeves. We looked in so many shops and finally found one but also found most of the dresses with sleeves were black or navy and much plainer but she wanted something a bit more glamorous for this wedding. I was on the verge of offering to sew sleeves into a sleeveless dress!
Love this idea. I hate having to show my arms. Genius.

Hi Jane – as a 55 year old who is having a problem in the upper arm area – could you try them out and show us how they look? Many thanks. x
Great solution, simple but really clever.
