Zara Dress

[purchase] I thought I’d quickly show you (with more awkward clothes shots!) the dress I finally, last-ditch effort found for Saturday’s wedding.

Zara Dress

Obviously, I won’t be wearing my sports bra with it! I’m planning to accessorise with layered chains, lots of gold bracelets and I think gold wedge espadrilles. I like it because it’s got plenty of movement and it’s nice and cool – coral nails and an orange based lip balm should be okay. It’s a very relaxed wedding – the reception is in the garden so I don’t want to be tottering about in heels getting stuck in the lawn every five minutes.

That bloody random shoe! This is why I need to stick to beauty :-)) Anyway, it will have to do as I’m out of time – it’s £49.99 HERE.

  1. It looks beautiful, I would have loved to have made you a hat to go with it! Next time let me know ♥️♥️♥️
    Have a wonderful time

thanks Sarah! It’s a very informal wedding so no hat required :-)))

I think hats can be completely informal- I LOVE wearing hats. Before anyone says that hats don’t suit them, I will say that there is a hat out their for everyone, and you just need to wear them with complete and total hattitude.

        1. Antonia you are my spirit animal!!
If I may be so bold, I would love to create for you!

Beautiful dress and a dress for the Greek summer too! It flows so beautiful on you, it suits you! I’m wondering if it is wrinkle-prone. I value your feedback, so let me know your experience. Thank you.

      It didn’t crease at all!

I went to see it in person and buy it. Unfortunately it is made in Turkey…

Totally LOVE it! Makes thinking of that lovely chinoiserie (or how do you spell it?) French porcelain… Beautiful floating as well… And protects from too bright sun! Ideal summer dress… (And if not to dress it up these white sandals are perfect… and on a VERY hot and informal day, not for the wedding, I’d ditch the bra at all – pattern and shape allow it I think, nobody will know but you 😉 )

Oh, suddenly realised you are talking about the dress! Thank you! I wore it with gold espadrilles in the end and a multi-strand gold necklace.

Sounds delightful… Being trousers-girl nearly all year round this hot summer I literally live in free floating maxi-dresses with lots chains/pendants hanging on my neck – and enjoy it vastly… (didn’t think that it’s also an outfit to walk dogs, but life proved me wrong – with the right shoes…)

          1. Jane Cunningham

I’m never happier than when in my jeans 🙂 But sometimes you have to crack out a dress so I’m glad I found this one 🙂
