[affiliatelink] I’m very bad at doing colour – my safe zone is black, white, metallics with an occasional foray into animal print. But, every now and again, brights catch my attention so I stepped out of my comfort zone (for the second time in as many weeks!) and really don’t want to wear anything but this sale bargain from Hush.

It just felt like such a summery, good mood thing and a very easy wear which, indeed it is. I’ve worn it with jeans and white linen cigarette pants and like it with both. It’s a good length for a sloppy sweater (I have size M but I think they come up a bit big – fine for lounge wear) and the linen/cotton mix means it’s not hot, as well as being a boxy cut which I think flatters all shapes. I like V necks because you can trail loads of necklaces round – I’ve got one small picture of me in it from my Instagram page (below) so you can see a bit of what it’s like on.
