I know I’ve been featuring some pretty expensive brands recently, but this cost me £1 and it’s absolutely lovely! If you used Nivea Sun products, perhaps on family holidays and the annual wrestle to get sun protection on wriggly babies and children, or for yourself on a favourite holiday – this is going to bring back all sorts of memories!
It’s exactly the scent of their sun screens – anything that smells of sun tan lotion instantly reminds me of holidays and happy times (not the wrestling with my kids in the sand though!) – so you might have a few memories flooding back. It’s just *that* scent of hot skin, wet towels and swimming pools that’s unique to sun lotions. Actually, it reminds me more of the after sun moment – sitting on the hotel bed being religious about after sun (hardly ever use it now) and having to wait for it to sink in before getting dressed. It’s £1 very well spent in my opinion and won’t surprise me if this goes viral… You can find it at Boots or on-line HERE.
Also though… big difference between what we used to call our Sun Tan Lotion and now, Sun Screen or SPF. Nobody calls it Sun Tan Lotion any more.
