Having Yorkshire grandparents and parents, it’s natural that I like my tea so strong and Tetley tasting you can stand a spoon in it – I’ve never in my life had a chai tea and can’t even bear the thought of a chai latte. However, this balm is really rather nice – it’s sweet with hints of clove in a silky, soft formula that glides over sore lips. There is a bit of a down-wind of wax, but it’s better tasting/smelling than most.

The down-sides however are that since ‘chai’ means tea, they’ve called it tea twice so it’s tea-tea balm and if you wear a flavoured balm, the chances of you licking your already chapped lips more than usual go way up. But, it feels like a bit of a treat and at £3.99 won’t break the bank. If you know any chai fans, it’s a sweet little gift. You can find it at Superdrug, Amazon, FeelUnique and Lookfantastic from now.

I used to work with a Nepalese woman who made a foul looking concoction by filling a mug with milk, putting a teabag in it and then microwaving the lot. Bleurgh! Give me a mug of builders’ tea any day … minus the three spoonfuls of sugar most builders seem to like.
I have – specifically – strong Tetley with half fat milk and two sweeteners. I can’t have it any other way.
I need this in my life RIGHT NOW.
