[productsample/affiliate] I’ve got some very glitzy palettes coming up for review which somehow makes this offering from RMS look uncomplicated and extremely easy to use. I love the allure of a sparkly seasonal palette but for anyone who hasn’t a clue where to start with 76 permutations of metallic, Hidden Desire is just … well.. a relief.

RMS Hidden Desire Palette

Actually, it reminds me of the Estee Edit a little bit in style and I especially like a white background palette. You can use this palette wet or dry (I’ve only tested dry) and the formula of the colours includes ingredients that may actually have some benefit to the skin you’re applying it to. So, buriti oil, vitamin E, squalene, and minerals without paraben coating. I don’t know that you’d ever actually see the benefits, but if it’s important to you, then you know that they’re there.

There’s a bit of a less is more vibe to this palette – actually quite clever because it taps into either end of the age market and anyone looking to find products that are more than just colours. So, as you can see, there are two cheeks shades – a blush and a highlighter, and a cool colour side as well as a warm colour side.

I’ve no complaints at all at the pigment level – this is one swipe of a sponge applicator for each shade which is pretty good and the blush colour is gorgeous; a real suit-all. The colour formulas feel creamy rather than powdery. It’s £40 so a considered purchase for most of us. You can find it HERE, non affiliate HERE.
