[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] If you’re an Origins fan, the Origins Advent Calendar 2023 is all your dreams come true. I do hold a bit of a candle for Origins – I don’t think it’s quite the brand it once was but (it used to be so fun?!) but I’ll always have time for their Peace of Mind On The Spot Relief. I always have it in the house – most recently used for a delightful spot on the tip of my nose – is there a more obvious place.
I love the simplicity of this – it’s tasteful and not oversized. Whoever did the ribbon design on the doors and particularly on the front of the box needs a medal – the top of the box in particular looks 3D. Very clever. There’s absolutely a market for this kind of single brand calendar that’s predictable and won’t leave you with three hair oils you’ll never use. If you already love the brand, you’ll use every last piece.
There are several items from the Ginger collection which is focused on self-care – and the Ginger Incredible Spreadable Scrub is a delight. In the search for the ‘perfect’ complexion, the search for peace for the soul is often overlooked and it’s not in this calendar.
There are products across all their best selling ranges – GinZing, Mega-Mushroom and Plantscription. I’ll leave a full list at the very end of the post so you can look if you want to but I’m seeing this as a very good all rounder from a brand that may not exactly set the world on fire but it is reliably efficacious and pleasant to use. It’s £110 HERE with a value of over £172. It’s for you if you don’t want to take a chance on products you’ve never heard of and things you may never use and it’s not for you if you’re a beauty adventurer who wants lots of different brands to have a go at.
