Jurlique Advent Calendar 2023

[unpaid/sample] I’m very slow this week – still got this horrendous cough that keeps me up at night so I’m short on sleep and just not feeling great to be honest. I think it’s just a virus going around (it’s not covid) because I seem to hear the distinctive cough everywhere. We said goodbye to Uchenna yesterday in a beautiful service and tribute – her family is wonderful and so loving with her darling daughter – it was a wonderful farewell. I like to get the shape of the week’s blogging sorted on Mondays and obviously that didn’t happen so it may be a bit rag tag till I can catch myself up. However, I’m at my desk (after going to a meeting that is actually tomorrow) so very happy to bring you this year’s Jurlique advent calendar.

Jurlique Advent Calendar 2023

It’s not dissimilar to last year’s to be honest in terms of content – it looks a bit different – and I think that’s to be expected when you have brand that doesn’t have hundreds of different products. However, everything is covered for face and body and if you’re already a fan you have your year’s travel beauty completely sorted. If you don’t know Jurlique but are curious, the travel sizes will be perfect to dip in and out of until you feel you know it better.

I love the daily reminders to centre yourself and not to burn the candle at both ends especially in the run up to Christmas – it really does make the calendar feel more special. I’m going to give this to a friend who is having a baby in a month or so – I’ve noticed that new mums and mums to be are super careful about what they put on their face and bodies during pregnancy or post birth in a way, quite frankly, that we never were. It literally never occurred to me that I shouldn’t be worshipping at the altar of Clarins oil to prevent stretch marks (which it did!) or not painting my nails or dipping into a Chanel bath.

I mean, maybe I still would – who is to say? But current advice seems to be very different to what it was back in the day. Jurlique is more holistic and natural than most. Ingredients are farmed biodynamically and farmed on land in South Australia. Planting is planned around moon and planet positioning so in theory that regime maximises the energy of the ingredients. I mean, if you’re into it, you’re into it.

Jurlique Advent Calendar 2023

Of all Jurlique products, I like the rose products best because they smell utterly lovely and feel so beautiful on the skin. The calendar is £110 with most sizes being 10ml, 20ml or 30ml – an example of the latter is the Rare Rose Oil (30ml, £41 value) so you can see how the value starts to add up. It’s HERE.  The full list is below so look away now if you don’t want to see :-).
