I am probably the very last person to the beauty scoop party – this popped up on my FB feed last week and I bought one straight away. It’s a flexible silicone, arrow-tipped stick that allows you to scoop out the last bits of product from jars that are difficult to access otherwise.

The above (Clarins foundation) is a good case in point – it’s got a glass pipette as a method of getting the product out of the bottle and there is just no way, come the end, that you’d be able to access the last drops as the pipette has no flexibility or bend with which to do so. The beauty spatula does have scope for movement (although the stick itself is rigid) so can scrape about at the bottom and sides. It’s a very handy thing! I expect you’ve all got one because I do realise I am last to know about this! It’s HERE for £6.43 on the outside chance you don’t.

Don’t worry about being the last Jane … I’ve never even heard of it before!
Me either. But I do cut open tubes and get the last of product out that way.
Nor had I!
Sounds cool although I use the handle end of a Real Techniques detail brush to the same purpose (as well as cutting tubes open) but what I would really like is some way to get the last of my Dior foundation out of the elegant but uncooperative glass bottle with welded on metal pump!
Any ideas would be much appreciated, based on how much extra product I scoop out of cut-open tubes and other disassembled containers I reckon I could get another few weeks use out of it!
Cheers, Jo
Alas this is new to me. Don’t worry Jane! I wish they have something like this for yogurt bottles which are difficult to get the last bit out of!
Looks good but seems quite expensive for what it is
