[productsample] There are few products that I would describe as impeccable from start to finish, but that’s the word I would use for the Willowberry brand as a whole. There are only three products in the range: a cleansing balm, a moisturiser and a facial oil. By keeping it simple, Willowberry’s founder, Jenni, is able to produce at a level that is ethical, sustainable and mindful without disrupting the integrity and efficacy of the products. New brands can learn a lot from Willowberry – there isn’t a single mention of ageing around the products, instead focusing on glow, texture and health (covetable at any age skin), every product has complete ingredient transparency and it’s fairly priced.

Willowberry Nutrient Boost Day Cream

I’ve written about Willowberry before but since the day cream has had a formulation update and I am just starting to properly feel the effects of the weather change on my skin (especially this morning as an icy wind whipped across the heath), I felt that it’s worth a re-visit in case you’re looking for a routine change to see you through the coming months. Nutrient Boost Day Cream is something of a skin warrior when it comes to keeping skin in good shape. A boost of hyaluronic acid sits alongside essential fatty acids such as rosehip, chia and vitamin E so that skin feels immediately softened and more supple. Fireweed (a plant so named for its regeneration abilities – often the first to show up again after a forest fire) supplies antioxidant properties. The cream isn’t greasy or oily so I’d say that it’s suitable for all types but the biggest benefits will be felt by those with drier skin.

Willowberry Nutrient Boost Day Cream

The Willowberry Cleansing Balm is easily one of my favourites, again using (UK sourced) chia seed oil and vitamin E with rosehip oils – if you have skin that gets parched in winter, this is for you. The Face Oil is one of those formulas that immediately feels at one with your skin – it doesn’t sit and has such a silky feel that you just want to keep on stroking your face! Everything has a pleasing sort of spa-ish scent and that’s the one flag up that I have – if you are sensitive to essential oils, this range may not suit you. Otherwise, just like before, it’s truly a high recommend on many levels, including best practice and age respectfulness. The Day Cream is £27.99, the Face Oil is £26.99 and the Cleanser, £29.99, as well as a mini-kit for £39.99 that contains everything and delivery is free. Head HERE.
