I get asked quite often to do more ‘what’s in my make-up bag’ posts, but I’m such a creature of habit that it doesn’t really vary that wildly. However, with our joke of a summer, I have changed it up a bit – my skin is quite tanned at the moment so it’s a kind of nude look with pink accents I guess.
Starting with Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder (£38 HERE) which I feel very lucky to have as it keeps selling out and selling out, it just gives the most flawless finish to your look. I don’t even like powder, and yet, I love this. Next up, the new Armani Flash Lacquer in Pink 522 (£23.50 HERE) which I wore last night to go out and now it’s all I want to wear but I’ve already raved about these in a previous post, so won’t bang on! I’m hooked on the Dior Nude Tan BB Cream (£30 HERE). I wear No.2, the deepest shade and it gives a ‘healthy glow’ finish.
I’m religiously using the new Max Factor Lashfinity 3 Day Mascara (£18.99 HERE) on my bottom lashes. It was one of the fastest sell out mascaras ever for Boots when it launched and it’s literally only just gone back in stock (and I notice it’s on free next day delivery). I’m still hooked on the new Bourjois Cream Blushers (£6.99 HERE), and also Bourjois Khol & Crayon Shadow and Light (£5.49 HERE). It seems that everyone else loves them too because the shade I have here, Noir et Niege, seems to be out of stock everywhere.. the closest I can find is Eben & Argen which looks slightly more silvery in the light shade but still the same black. If you use the white or silver tip in the inner corner of the eyes it really does wake them up a bit. I love black khol and use tons of it! Finally, the new Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Suede from the Navy & Nude collection that isn’t out in the UK yet.
So that’s it.. a real mix of designer and high street now I look at it. I’m usually not fussy about expensive or exclusive brands – as long as it does the job, that’s fine for me!
