[unpaid/sample/affiliate/prioradrelationship] I’ve had a lot of disappointing facial mists in the past without realising how disappointing they were at the time. We all had the ‘grape water’ in the fridge over the summer months to douse complexions in polyphenols or whatever (actually, I still have…) but while most are not drying exactly, it’s quite hard to tell some of them from actual water. I think you have to meet the right mist before you become a convert otherwise they can feel either pointless or extravagant.
I don’t make any secret that I love this brand – I’ve waited a long time for it to come to the UK and it hasn’t disappointed on any level yet. I’d say that the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is more than just a spritz to use over make up, after cleansing or just to top up your moisture levels as and when. The first thing to say is that it actually mists, rather than just squirting your face or even spraying your face. It comes out very finely indeed which means it lands gently and unless you have it in the fridge, the same temperature as your skin which makes it pleasant to use. As an extra tip, you can also spritz your foundation brush with the mist before blending out over your face to give an extra bit of dewy glow.
It’s got a beautiful skin feel – as soon as the drops land they feel like they’re supposed to be on your skin. You get a light veil of hydrating botanical oils, hyaluronic acid and red algae (it’s not red) that soften, refresh and give suppleness straight away so if you feel your complexion drying out under the air-con you can spritz away over bare skin or make-up. Tatcha uses their own ferment mix of green tea, algae and rice called Hadasei-3™ which is full of amino acids that skin loves. It’s suitable for all skin types. While Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist isn’t a necessity in the way that some products are, it’s certainly a beautiful product to splurge on if you feel like adding a luxury item to your routine. I know that this has been raved about a lot and now I see why – when I got my first Tatcha samples the Mist was out of stock so its’ my first time experiencing it. Much like the serum, I can see it will be hard to give up :-). It’s £45 HERE.

I admit having a quick spray of this when in my local Space NK. Still dither over buying it.
