[productsample] There’s a beautiful full size palette coming for SUQQU Holiday 2019 which I’ll post on Friday, but for now, I have the quad and two stunning lipsticks to show you. Actually, someone was asking me on Instagram about a matte violet shade which was proving difficult to track down, and it seems like that elusive colour might be lurking in this quad!

SUQQU Holiday 2019

SUQQU always manages to curate shades in their Eye Designing Palettes that aren’t predictable – they’re never your absolutely standard fail-safes – and I admire this creativity that doesn’t run with trends but instead represents the brand in a way that feels true to them. Fukakazari, above, is £60.

The blush, Kagayakizoe, £34, is an easy-wear pinky coral shade with the ombre finishing on a champagne tone if  you want to add some shimmer. The formula is super-silky and applies seamlessly in one stroke which means that the little brush included actually does work well because it’s got nothing much to do in the way of blending.

The two lipsticks are a new formula for Suqqu with a velvet finish, although I’d say that they’re more generous on shine than traditional velvets. Nonetheless, they’ve got all the buttery feel you’d expect in colours that perhaps you wouldn’t! They’re £30 each – the pink is called Benikinu and the orange is Kagedaidai. You’ll be able to find these in Selfridges from October 3rd and then Harrods from October 13th.
