Fitflop Bloom
Fitflop Bloom

If you tune into BBB regularly, you’ll know that I’m Fitflop’s biggest fan. I honestly can’t even count the number of pairs I’ve got (my sister is hooked now too!) because I’ve been buying these since 2007! I can remember the launch and everything – back then Fitflop was positioned more as a ‘work out for your legs’ and they were very utilitarian looking. However, now I barely even think about the ‘toning’ aspect (they do tone – I’m sure of it – thanks to the specially built sole) because they’re the world’s most comfortable shoe.

So, for me, a new collection is high excitement! I think I’ve had at least one pair from every summer collection, for sure. And, guess what pair is on my radar for buying right now from the Summer 2015 FitFlops! The gorgeous, suede Bloom, above. I will lay down my last penny that someone will ask me if they’re from Chanel!

Fitflop Banda Micro Crystal

At the same time though, I’m also a bit in love with the Banda Micro Crystals. I know that from feedback on BBB a few people have had trouble with the toe post which has never given me any concern at all.. I can slip on a new pair and it’s as though I’ve had them forever – Havaianas kill my toes though. If you do have problems with toe posts, there’s a new design from Fitflop called the Bloom Slide which eliminates the post altogether. I haven’t tried them (yet).

I personally prefer the post design, but these really are pretty. Cost wise, the toepost Blooms are £65, the Slides are £75 and the Crystals are £90. I know this should be an Accessory Wednesday post ideally, but I couldn’t wait! Fitflops are everywhere so you won’t find it hard to find a stockist..they have their own site and a good selection in John Lewis.
