Suisai Beauty Clear Powder

Ages ago, I wrote about the beauty powder trend – cleansers and exfoliators coming in a powder form. Well, look what turned up today, courtesy of Yasumi at WorshipBlues (incidentally, one of the most beautiful sites I know covering beauty, fashion, lifestyle and food) who has been travelling.

If you’re wondering what on earth these dinky little pots are – they’re individual portions of enzymatic cleansing powder to clean and exfoliate in one.

They look like very fine washing powder grains – just add a little water and you’re off. I’m SO happy to have these – it’s all very well being at the back end of a computer looking at world beauty trends, but actually getting to try them is another thing altogether. Think how handy these are for travel! I would definitely buy caplets like these of everything from cleanser to moisturiser as a huge space saving exercise for travel.

So thank you, lovely Yasumi, for letting me experience these first hand – I love them!

If you’re just as curious, you can find these on Ebay.

  1. You are so welcome. You’ve been so amazing to me in the past this is the least I could to. Just happy that you accepted them (you know what I mean). Oh! One thing to note, make sure that you use a good high SPF after using these. These are some of my travel favourites, so easy to have in my luggage and they give a such a thorough clean.

Thank you also for being kind about my blog.

  2. I’ve seen several similar products but steered clear because I read only negative reviews that they didn’t clean well, were difficult to use, too scratchy. Will be very happy if you share your experience!

I would say that they’re better exfoliators than cleansers and I haven’t come across a scratchy one yet.. they’re usually very finely milled and use the enzymes to exfoliate rather than the grains, which go to mush when you add water x

would these cleansers be the same as Dermalogica Microfoliant?

    1. Jane

      yes, a very similar thing.

  4. These look so handy and interesting x

These look interesting, but the curmudgeon in me is really turned off by how much packaging this requires. I’m not that green, but this seems excessive.

  6. I love this idea – and they are so cute!! Perfect for a weekend away but I think I’d be to excited to wait to try. I love products from Asia (with the exception of bleaching skin creams which I find abhorrent) and new things. Also thinking that thoroughly cleansed the pots would be awesome for jello shots! 🙂

I’ve tried these years ago – they do make your face squeaky clean, but the price tag only gets higher and higher!! Not sustainable to the wallet and environment either

  8. These look very interesting and your right they would be fab for travelling!
